Waylon Jones, also known as Killer Croc, is a metahuman inmate of Belle Reve penitentiary. He suffers from a rare genetic condition that gives him reptilian features, including thick, green scales, sharpened teeth, and enhanced strength.

His condition has progressively worsened over time, making him more crocodile-like. Croc's physical appearance makes him an outcast, which has contributed to his violent tendencies and anti-social behavior.

Imprisoned for various crimes, Croc was recruited by Amanda Waller to be part of Task Force X, also known as the Suicide Squad. Waller believed his strength and ferocity would be valuable assets in carrying out dangerous, black ops missions.

During his time with the Suicide Squad, Croc proved to be a formidable fighter, using his enhanced strength and reptilian abilities to take down enemies. Despite his gruff exterior, he showed moments of camaraderie with his teammates.
